The Diocese of Trenton will commemorate the May 1 Beatification of Pope John Paul II with a concelebrated Mass beginning at 11 a.m. in St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton.

Bishop David M. O'Connell, C.M., will serve as principal celebrant and homilist. Following Mass, the Polish Catholic community in Trenton will lead a procession beginning at 12:30 p.m. from St. Hedwig Church to Holy Cross Church (Divine Mercy Parish), located at 201 Adeline Street, Trenton. There a prayer service will be held around the parish's monument of Pope John Paul II.
