Deacon Raymond Roderique, formerly served in Willingboro parish

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 6 in Holy Name of Mary Church, Bedford, Va., for Deacon Raymond Roderique who died Nov. 30. He was 84.
Deacon Roderique was ordained a permanent deacon for the Trenton Diocese Nov. 1, 1978, in Our Lady of Princeton Retreat House by Bishop George W. Ahr. He served in Corpus Christi Parish, Willingboro, until he relocated to Virginia and he was incardinated as a deacon with the Diocese of Richmond.
Deacon Roderique was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and was a life member of the Knights of Columbus.
Deacon Roderique was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Kathy. He is survived by his 10 children; 31 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
Burial was in the cemetery of Resurrection Parish, Moneta, Va.
