Funeral services will be held in St. Dominic Church, 250 Old Squan Road, Brick, for Deacon Bernard J. Kane III, who died suddenly April 3. He was 66.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. April 7 in the church, and again at 9 a.m. April 8. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m.

Deacon Kane was ordained a deacon May 11, 2013, by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three children Megan (Michael) Groome, Bernard IV (Beth) and Joey (Andrea); three grandchildren; four siblings and their spouses and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be in New St. Mary Cemetery, Bellmawr.
