CWOZ gathering planned Nov. 21

Catholic Women of Zion Chapter II will hold a mini-day retreat for women Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon in St. Pius X Parish, Forked River. The day consists of prayer, guest speaker, sharing and lunch. Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. in the church.

Speaker Deacon Anthony Martucci will focus his topic on “Intercessory Prayer and the Communion of Saints.” Deacon Martucci was born in Jersey City. He attended St. Peter’s Pre and College Jersey City and is currently a retired middle school teacher. He was ordained a deacon for the Diocese in 1987 by Bishop John C. Reiss. His previous ministry experience includes serving for 14 years as pastoral associate in St. Mary of the Lake Parish, Lakewood, and St. Pius X Parish.

Admission is $20 and is payable on the day of the luncheon. Registration is necessary by Nov. 17. To register, call 609-693-5017 and leave  phone number and spelling of last name, or visit www.cwoz.org.
