Circle of Mercy breakfast to benefit Sisters of Academy of New Jersey

July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.

Mercy Center’s Sisters Academy of New Jersey will host its second annual Circle of Mercy Breakfast Oct. 2 in the Sisters Academy gymnasium located at 1416 Springwood Ave., Asbury Park.  The hour-long program will begin at 8:30 a.m. and admission is free.

One of Sisters Academy’s seventh grade students wrote a novel this past fall as part of "National Novel Writing Month."  With the help of Pat Horan of Sea Girt, a volunteer tutor at Sisters Academy, she was able to have the novel published.  She will talk about this experience at the breakfast and will sign copies of the book for all of the guests.

World renowned author Mary Higgins Clark will be present for the special program, which will also include presentations from current students, alumnae, and parents.  Co-chairs James Cashman and John Child, of Bradley Beach, are hosts of the breakfast.  The event provides the opportunity for guests to learn about the education of excellence students receive at Sisters Academy and how to support the transformative work of the school.

For information please call 732-774-9397, ext. 14, email [email protected] or visit www.mercycenternj.org on the web.
