Christmas Time in Ireland with Tony Kenny Dec. 16

St. John the Baptist Parish, Allentown, will present “Christmas Time in Ireland” featuring Tony Kenny Dec. 16 in Robbinsville Fieldhouse, 153 West Manor Way, Robbinsville. A preshow will begin at 6 p.m. with the show that includes music, song, dance and comedy following at 7:30.

Tony Kenny, dubbed as being Ireland’s 1998 "Entertainer of the Year," has thrilled audiences around the world with his exceptional talent. He began his musical career as the star of the internationally acclaimed stage musicals, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph's Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, where critics described his performances as "powerful and compelling."

After receiving dozens of awards for his stage and television performances, Kenny turned his beautiful voice and theatrical talent to the world of Irish music when he joined the cast of the world famous Jury's Irish Cabaret in Dublin. This show won Ireland’s National Entertainment Awards' "Show of the Year" honors Dec. 29, 1998. As the star of the show, Tony has entertained over one and a half million people from around the world, and takes his show on a tour of the United States each spring and autumn.

Tickets for the Dec. 16 performance are $35 for general seating. VIP tables are available. Tickets will be sold after all weekend Masses in St. John the Baptist Church as well as in the parish office.
