Christian Brother Robert Fagan, served at CBA for 18 years

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft, for Christian Brother Robert Fagan who died Jan. 13 in Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Father John T. Folchetti, academy chaplain and pastor of St. Leo the Great Parish, Lincroft, was principal celebrant of the Mass. Deacon Joseph Prioli of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Farmingdale, and a graduate of CBA, was homilist.
Brother Robert was born in 1946. He joined the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1961 and received the religious habit of the Christian Brothers in 1965. He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., and a license in physical fitness from the University of Minnesota. He served as an athletic trainer in Lincroft since 1992.
Brother Robert is survived by his brother, Christian Brother Gabriel Fagan, a professor at La Salle University, Philadelphia, Pa.
