Choir camp, VBS among summer activities that keep kids active in faith

Faith doesn’t take a vacation. That’s what parishes in the Diocese of Trenton affirm summer after summer by providing children with activities that lead them to learning more about Jesus and the Catholic faith.
Whether it was welcoming young parishioners to the inaugural choir camp held in July 27-29 in St. Mary Parish, Colts Neck, showing youngsters in Vacation Bible School that they were created by God for a purpose in parishes throughout the Diocese over the past weeks, or offering a weeklong Summer Academy intensive and faith formation for children in parishes such as St. Benedict, Holmdel, and St. Mary, Middletown, parishes demonstrated to children and families that spending time with friends in a fun, spirit-filled environment is the best summer activity of all.
