Celebrating Past, Present and Future
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
During the opening week of the 50th anniversary celebration of St. Benedict School, Holmdel, members of the press and special guests were invited to a VIP luncheon and school tour. Accompanied by enthusiastic student ambassadors and adult leaders from the school community, guests visited classrooms, observed art displays, were introduced to numerous service projects and engaged in interactive learning with white boards, answering questions with clickers and discovering the varied ways technology is being utilized in the school to educate youth. First grade students, pictured, were eager to demonstrate the use of IPads, a new acquisition purchased through the Adopt-a-Class program and being used as a supplement to teaching. At the close of the tour, guests were treated to the culinary expertise of Father Richard C. Vila, parochial vicar, pictured, who whipped up some mean paninis
