Celebrating '100' with service
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
As part of Villa Victoria Academy’s commitment to community service, first graders set out to collect 100 canned goods to celebrate the 100th day of school. The collection benefitted the Bucks County Housing Group food pantries, and the He Cares, We Care ministry of Princeton Alliance Church. As the cans came to school, the first graders integrated math into the project. They grouped and counted the cans in several ways. There were 436 cans in all.
