Catholic Women of Zion to hold retreat day

The Catholic Women of Zion Chapter 1 will hold a retreat day March 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale.
The day will begin with Mass celebrated by Father Angelito Anarcon, pastor, in the church. The retreat will follow and include prayer, music, sharing, networking and prayers for healing. The guest speaker for the retreat is Caroline Gambale-Dirkes, who will speak on the topic “Blessed and Highly Favored.”
Gambale-Dirkes has been active in evangelization and youth ministry for 23 years. Presently, she does multigenerational evangelization through 2Tim4 Ministries, which she co-founded with her husband Dan. She also serves as a member of the National Service Committee for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and has spoken internationally at numerous diocesan rallies, retreats and conferences.
Gambale-Dirkes, a graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor’s degree in theology and psychology, received the 2013 National Evangelization Team Distinguished Alumni Award for her ongoing commitment to evangelization. She considers her greatest achievement as raising her three beautiful children, Catherine, Daniel and Therese.
