Catholic Women of Zion gathering

Catholic Women of Zion Chapter II will hold a mini-day retreat for women March 1 from 9 a.m. to noon in St. Pius X Parish Hall, 300 Lacey Rd., Forked River. Women are invited to attend the 8 a.m. parish Mass.
The day will consist of prayer, music, speaker, sharing, and lunch. This month’s speaker is Anna Brudzynski, who will address the topic of “The Spirituality of Care-giving; A Trinitarian Model.”
Brudzynski, who has been serving the Church and community for over 30 years as a wife, mother, social worker and Commissioned Lay Ecclesial Minister in 2006. Brudzynski served as the associate director for the Office of Pastoral Care in Trenton Diocese from 2005-2009. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, a master’s degree in social work and a master’s of art in theology.
Admission is $20, payable the day of the gathering. Registration required by Feb. 25. To register, call 609-693-5107 or visit www.cwoz.org.
