Catholic Women of Zion, Chapter I, to hold retreat day in Howell

The Catholic Women of Zion, Chapter I, will hold a retreat day May 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in St. William the Abbot Church, 2740 Lakewood-Allenwood Rd., Howell.  The day will consist of Mass, prayer, music, speaker, sharing, networking and prayers for healing.

Guest speaker will be Eileen Lombardo, president of CWOZ, Chapter II, since Feb. 22, 1997.  She was an active member of St. Mary Parish, Barnegat, since 1973 where she joined her husband, Earl, who was ordained as a permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Trenton in 1989, in service and ministering to the parish as a CCD teacher, Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist, Pre-Cana and Baptismal prep classes.  Lombardo is a current parishioner at St. Pius X Parish, Forked River.  In 2006 she completed training for the Diocese of Trenton, from Lead Consultants, Inc., as a trainer for Lab II, Interpersonal Communication Skills, and was part of a team teaching our Diaconate Program Listening Skills.  On October 14, 2012 she received the Brown Scapular, the Holy Habit of the Secular Order of Carmelites.  Lombardo will speak on the topic, “The God Who Sees Me.”

Admission is $20 and includes lunch.  All are welcome.  Reservations are required by May 12.
