Catholic Charismatic Renewal plans women's conference Dec. 12

The Diocese of Trenton’s Catholic Charismatic Renewal will hold a Women’s Conference with the theme “Return to the Father” Dec. 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the campus of St. Mary Parish, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown.

Designed to begin the papal Year of Mercy, the day will feature teachings by Dr. Adriane Gullotta-Gsell, worship led by Kait Mayer and a healing service led by Caroline Gambale-Dirkes.

Mass will be celebrated by Father Jeffrey Kegley, pastor of St. Mary Parish and liaison to the diocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal. There will be a period of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament and vendors of Catholic items will be present.

A member and reader at Holy Cross Parish, Rumson, Dr. Adriane Gullotta-Gsell is a licensed psychologist who utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and Christian counseling in her Red Bank practice.  She is a Third Order Carmelite Lay Religious and a Commissioned Lay Ecclesial Minister (CLEM) with a master’s degree in theology. Gullotta-Gsell serves as a consultant to the diocesan Pastoral Care Department and is one of the key presenters at pastoral care training workshops. She frequently speaks at church or diocesan gatherings on psycho-spiritual issues with the goal of building up the Body of Christ. She has been married for 38 years and has two adult daughters.

Kait Mayer is a Creighton Model Fertility Care intern with the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction. She works full time in St. Paul Parish, Princeton, as coordinator of youth and young adult ministry.

Caroline Gambale-Dirkes has been active in evangelization and youth ministry for 23 years. Presently, she does multigenerational evangelization through 2Tim4 Ministries, which she co-founded with her husband Dan. She also serves as a member of the National Service Committee for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and has spoken internationally at numerous diocesan rallies, retreats and conferences.

The cost for the conference is $25, which includes breakfast and lunch.
