Catechetical ministry workshop to be held April 5

The diocesan Ministry of Catechesis and Evangelization will present “A Catechist’s Journey: Teaching the Catholic Faith” April 5 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Freehold. The formation day is designed for all in catechetical ministry and will feature Mass at 9:15 a.m. celebrated by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., and presentations by Loyola Press catechist Joe Paprocki, D. Min.

Paprocki has held positions as a high school seminary religion teacher and worked in the Office of Catechesis of the Archdiocese of Chicago. He joined Loyola Press to work on catechetical resources, authoring a number of books including “The Bible Blueprint: A Catholic’s Guide to Understanding and Embracing God’s Word” and the “Catechist’s Toolbox” series. He and representatives from Loyola Press will offer the participants insights in faith and exhibit new and updated religious resources.

Registration is $10. which includes lunch.
