Caring for aging loved ones workshop
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
St. Catharine Parish Nursing Ministry, Holmdel, will sponsor a free program on Caring for Aging Loved Ones Jan. 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the church in room 16/17 at 108 Middletown Road.
This program will explore the options of providing long-term care, one of the most challenging of life transitions facing spouses and adult children, as they take on the role of caregiver and how a loved one is cared for within financial limitations, an important decision one must make.
Tracey Wolfman, RN, administrator of We Care Adult Day Care will present an overview of types of care, grants and funding and other helpful insight into the role of caring for a loved one. Ellie Tava, a home caregiver and parishioner of the parish will also be a part of the program.
To register, call Gay Viggiano at 732-671-3347.
