Career Days in Hamilton Square, Burlington schools

The various careers that people choose were highlighted during Career Day celebrations in two Catholic elementary schools in the Diocese – St. Paul School, Burlington, and St. Gregory the Great Academy, Hamilton Square.
On April 2, St. Paul welcomes some 27 career presenters representing in various fields, such as military personnel, information technology, insurance, law enforcement, different medical personnel, business and finance, scientific fields, engineering, as well as trades such as HVAC, and automotive technology, hospitality and the culinary arts.
Other guests included radio personality Tom Morgan from SOJO 104.9, who spoke on communication and motivation.
South Star (Medical Evacuation Helicopter) landed on the school grounds and gave helicopter demonstrations and tours. The junior ROTC cadets from Burlington City High School began the day with a rifle twirl presentation.
The following week on April 9, St. Gregory the Great Academy celebrated Career Day by welcoming Ryan Marrone, attorney; James Barber, entrepreneur; Geoff Goyette, animal control officer; Mark Reme, engineer; Dr. Massimo Verduci, orthodontist; Janine Verduci, educator; Sue Hoeffner, engineer; Lt. Lenny Aviles, police officer; Dr. Jane Brady, audiologist; George Kostin, accountant; Bo Burrows, financial agent; Erica Haller, photographer; Maria Castrillo, banking representative; Josette Sloss, textiles sales manager, and Mattia Garofalo, registered nurse.
