July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.

St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Brant Beach, will host its 42nd annual “Festival of the Sea” Carnival Aug. 9 -13 in the parish center parking lot from 6 to 10 p.m. nightly.

The Festival of the Sea carnival features rides, food, games and fellowship for people of all ages.

Pay-one-price bracelets enable bearers to ride all the rides they want, all night long, at a cost of $25 each night except Aug. 11, when they are only $20. Favorite carnival foods such as pizza, seafood, ice cream and more will be for sale, and the parish youth ministry will be conducting face painting and photo booths.

The parish is looking for volunteers to help with the festival; applications can be found at stfranciscenterlbi.org, or at the front desk of the community center.

The carnival will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, located at 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach. Admission is free, and the LBI shuttle will run to the festival.
