Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., has made the following announcements regarding priest and religious personnel (effective July 1, 2012 except where otherwise noted):

His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI has designated Very Rev. Thomas J. Mullelly, Vicar for Clergy and Consecrated Life of the Diocese of Trenton, and Rev. Joseph L. Roldan, pastor and rector of St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton, and Diocesan Liaison for Hispanic and Portuguese Ministry, as Chaplains of His Holiness with the title “Reverend Monsignor.”

Rev. Msgr. Thomas N. Gervasio, currently pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish in Hamilton, has also been appointed Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia of the Diocese of Trenton.

Rev. Msgr. Gregory D. Vaughan, currently Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia of the Diocese of Trenton, has been appointed full-time Vicar for Vocations, Seminary Formation and Spiritual Director of Newly Ordained Priests of the Diocese of Trenton.

Sister Rose McDermott, S.S.J., faculty of Canon Law of The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., to Delegate for Religious of the Diocese of Trenton.

Rev. Msgr. Leonard F. Troiano, currently pastor of St. Pio Pietrelcina Parish in Lavallette, has also been appointed Episcopal Vicar of Ocean County.
