Bishop David M. O'Connell, C.M., served as principal celebrant in a solemn Mass for the consecration and dedication of the St. Anne Mausoleum in Wall Township, April 26.

"Here in this place of peace we gather to celebrate the consecration of this sacred place," Bishop O'Connell said to the 175 people in attendance during the Mass. "Death is not something to be feared," he noted, in speaking about the importance of celebrating the life we live here on earth and in heaven with the Lord. He and others spoke about the exceptional beauty of the mausoleum, the inside and the outside; the chapel contains four stained glass windows.
