'Being Catholic' to begin in Freehold parish Sept. 16

The Adult Faith Formation Ministry in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Freehold, is launching a three-year program entitled, “Being Catholic.”
Monthly sessions will allow the faithful to examine their Catholic faith as adults and empower the faithful to participate in the new evangelization. Each session will be held in the parish hall from 7 to 9 p.m. Following is a schedule of topics and presenters:
Sept. 16, The Eucharist, Father Mike Brizio, a member of the Consolata Missionaries and an adjunct priest in both St. Robert Bellarmine Parish and
Oct. 21, Pope Francis in the USA, Dr. Christopher Bellitto, parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish and chair and associate professor of history at Kean University, Union. He is also a frequent public speaker and media commentator on Church history and contemporary Catholicism. He is well-versed in the areas of Church councils and the papacy.
Nov. 18, Confirmation, Msgr. Sam Sirianni, pastor of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish
Dec. 9, Who is Jesus, Deacon Henry Cugini of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish.
