Author and radio host to speak on families in Freehold

With Pope Francis visiting Philadelphia last September in conjunction with the World Meeting of Families, renewed focus on family life is continuing in the Diocese of Trenton.
That energy will continue during a formation day for all in catechetical ministry surrounding family life at an upcoming Spring Formation Day featuring award-winning author, speaker and radio host Elizabeth Ficocelli.
The day, which scheduled for March 12, will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Mass celebrated by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., will be presented by the Diocese of Trenton Department of Evangelization and Catechesis.
Ficocelli, who will present on “Building Strong Healthy Families through the Sacraments and the Joy of Reconciliation,” has been a speaker at international and national conferences, parishes, schools and retreats. Her story of conversion has been featured on “The Journey Home with Marcus Grodi” on EWTN.
She is the host of “Answering the Call” on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, and has written fifteen books and numerous magazine articles for adults and young people, including “Seven from Heaven: How Your Family Can Find Healing,” “Strength and Protection in the Sacraments” and “The Imitation of Christ for Children.”
After the 9 a.m. Mass, the day will continue until 2:30 p.m. The fee to register is $15 and includes coffee, a light breakfast and lunch.
