Annual Family Rosary Rally announced

July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.

New Jersey State Council of the Knights of Columbus will hold its 22nd annual Family Rosary Rally Oct. 7 in the Rosary Garden at Our Lady of Fatima Cistercian Monastery, 564 Walton Ave., Mount Laurel, at 3 p.m.  There will be Benediction after the recitation of the Rosary.

The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated Oct. 7 when everyone is invited to meditate upon the mysteries of Christ by following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary in recalling the Incarnation, Passion, and Resurrection of the Son of God.  The Rosary is a prayer with long tradition, it is simple and powerful, and is credited with granting tremendous favors and blessings.

The rally is to pray to our Blessed Lady, ask for her blessing on this great nation and ask her to foster a renewed appreciation for the working of Divine Providence in all that we do.

It is suggested that those traveling from afar pack a lunch and car or van pool.  Bring your council’s banner and/or flag.

For information, contact Peter P. Cassiano, Rosary Rally chairman and church activities director, at 609-217-8078, or St. John Neumann Parish at 1-856-235-1330.
