Anna J. DeMaio Tedesco, mother of Father Joseph A. Tedesco

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson, for Anna J. DeMaio Tedesco who died Jan. 19 in The Riverview Estates, Riverton. She was 98.
Mrs. Tedesco was the mother of Cistercian Father Joseph A. Tedesco, of Mepkin Abbey, Mepkin, S.C. Prior to joining the Cistercian community, Father Tedesco served as a priest in the Diocese of Trenton for 28 years.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Tedesco was a former resident of the city’s Olney section and New Port Richey, Fla.
Mrs. Tedesco was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Tedesco. In addition to Father Tedesco, she is survived by two daughters; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Interment was to be in New Port Richey, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Estates, 303 Bank Ave., Riverton, N.J. 08077.
