The first graders in St Aloysius School, Jackson, were treated to a visit from Susan Addelston, founder of Jackson's WAGS, and very dedicated volunteer with the Ocean County Animal Shelter, who came to share stories with the children Oct. 10. She shared the story of the life of St Francis of Assisi, teaching the children The Prayer of St Francis. She also talked about all the creatures that arrive at the animal shelter and the process for adopting animals. She expressed gratitude the donations that shelter has received from the St Aloysius School community and talked about how the money is used. For this school year, the first grades will collect food and supplies for the Ocean County Animal Shelter. Photo courtesy of St. Aloysius School.
