Who Are We?

The Monitor is the official newspaper of the Diocese of Trenton and shares the stories of the Catholic community in Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We publish 24 issues, along with 5-6 special magazines each year.

Who do we reach?

The Monitor regularly reaches approximately 35,000 print and digital readers, with expanded distribution of 5,000-10,000 extra copies in parishes and schools at multiple points throughout the year. Overall, the Diocese of Trenton includes 270,000 households.

I’m not familiar with The Monitor?

While The Monitor has been published for over 50 years, we are not available on newsstands.  The Monitor is delivered by mail and email to subscribers and is also available at most of the more than 100 parishes throughout our market.
