Advent retreat Nov. 14

Visitation Parish, Brick, will host an Advent retreat Nov. 14 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. in the parish hall.
Speaker will be Dr. Dennis Cadigan, a Christian clinical psychologist and spiritual director who will talk about the “Coming of Jesus in Advent.” He will teach participants on opening themselves up to prayer for friends, family and loved ones and how to reflect on the Advent experience.
A light dinner will be provided, but participants may bring a dessert to share.
Registration will be accepted until Nov. 13 at noon.
