A spirituality talk for the 21st century planned

St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Red Bank, will host “A Spirituality for the 21st Century” talk May 6 at 3:30 p.m. in the church at 121 Bridge Avenue.
Guest speaker will be Dr. John Haught, a senior fellow, science and religion, Woodstock Theological Center, Georgetown University. He was formerly professor in the Department of Theology for Georgetown. His area of specialization is systematic theology, with a particular interest in issues pertaining to science, cosmology, evolution and religion. Haught’s talk will show how spiritual shock brought about by the Copernican revolution and new science in the 17th century provides lessons for today as we struggle for a new spirituality in the 21st century.
