July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.

Holy Cross High School, Delran, will hold the 2012 Sister Joan Companick Golf Tournament June 11 at the Little Mill Country Club, Marlton.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Sister Joan Companick and Lancer Promise Scholarship Funds, which help to keep Holy Cross High School affordable, through much needed financial aid, and enable students to excel.

Sister Joan Companick was a member of Holy Cross High School community and was the first woman to serve on the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Executive Committee. She also had a founding role in organizing state championship tournaments and worked tirelessly to organize sports programs for girls of all ages and abilities.

The Sister Joan Companick and Lancer Promise Scholarship programs ensure that the school will be able to continue offering an exceptional academic and spiritual experience to students that is also affordable.  Tuition covers about 82 percent of the actual cost of an education at Holy Cross High School.
