St. Paul School, Princeton, will mark its 135th anniversary of providing Catholic education this year.  Here, principal Ryan Killeen greets the Garcia family during the annual New Family Welcome Picnic, the first of many yearlong events celebrating the school’s rich history and legacy. One upcoming event will be the Opening Mass on Mercy Day Sept. 24, 9:30 a.m. celebrated by Msgr. Joseph Rosie, pastor, during which the Sisters of Mercy who founded and have staffed the school will be recognized. Founded in 1880, St. Paul is one of the oldest Catholic elementary schools in the State of New Jersey.
