The Diocese observed National Vocation Awareness Week with an Evening of Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations Nov. 4 in St. Mary Church, Bordentown. Father Christopher Colavito, diocesan director of vocations, presided at the Holy Hour which included exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary and a homily preached by Father Martin O’Reilly, pastor of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, Bordentown, of which St. Mary Church is part of.
NVAW, which this year was Nov. 1-7, is dedicated to giving faithful from Catholic parishes, schools and organizations the opportunity to pray for and raise awareness on vocations to the priesthood, religious life and diaconate.
