Spanish-speaking Catholics from around the Diocese gathered for the annual Charismatic Renewal Congress held Aug. 8 in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton.

Sponsored by the Diocesan Hispanic Charismatic Renewal with support from the diocesan Hispanic Initiatives, the daylong event centered on the theme “Palabra Viva” (“Living Word). Presenter was Father Jaime Alberto Perez, a priest from Colombia.
Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., was on hand to address the participants and offer them his blessing.
