Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., and his secretary and diocesan chancellor, Father Jean Felicien, joined Father Brian Woodrow and the community of for St. Dominic, Brick, for a parish celebration of Independence Day.

Lisa Crate, mayor of Brick Township, was in attendance attended and addressed the parishioners.
In recent months, the parish has witnessed the construction of a bell tower as well as a coffee shop and religious good store. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the publication of the Declaration of Independence, St. Dominic Parish joined churches throughout the country in ringing their church bells 250 times, beginning at 2:50 pm.
