Father Michael Hall, pastor of St. Gregory the Great Parish, Hamilton Square, and Father Stephen Sansevere, pastor of the three parishes that compose the Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley — St. James, Pennington; St. Alphonsus, Hopewell, and St. George, Titusville, and parishioners from both communities are touring the many sites of France while on pilgrimage in April.

As of April 20, the places where they toured, prayed and celebrated Mass included the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the St. Vincent de Paul Chapel; the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, all in Paris; the home of St. Therese in Lisieux, and Mont St. Michele in Normandy. They walked on the beaches of Normandy and prayerfully remembered all who have been laid to rest at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, that’s in tribute to American troops who died in the Normandy landings and the Battle of Normandy that followed.

The pilgrims also enjoyed a stop at Disneyland Paris, where they saw well-known sites like the Magic Kingdom and hobnobbed with famous celebs — Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Pluto.
