Annual Catholic Schools Job Fair slated for May 7 in Freehold

Offering prospective educators and school staff an opportunity to connect directly with hiring representatives, the Diocese of Trenton will host its annual Catholic Schools Job Fair May 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, 61 Georga Rd., Freehold.
Thirty Catholic schools are expected to participate in the event, with openings spanning a wide range, including Pre-K, elementary, middle and high school teaching positions, as well as coaching and other support opportunities.
Bonnie Milecki, diocesan assistant superintendent for Catholic schools, said the job fair has become a key hiring tool for schools in the Diocese.
“The Diocese of Trenton Catholic Schools Job Fair continues to be one of the most efficient ways to connect talented educators with our schools,” Milecki said. “This year, we’ve intentionally scheduled it at a single time when principals are ready to hire, and we’ve moved to a central location to make access easier across the Diocese.”
She added that the format allows candidates to maximize their time and opportunities by engaging with multiple schools in one setting.
“Candidates will be able to meet representatives from all 30 of our schools in one place, which is something we hear year after year is incredibly valuable,” Milecki said. “Every year principals tell us that they found fantastic candidates and filled multiple roles from connections made at the job fair.”
Representatives from participating schools will be available to discuss open positions, school culture and the unique aspects of working within a faith-based environment.
Milecki noted that Catholic schools continue to attract educators seeking a deeper sense of purpose in their work.
“Educators are drawn to work in Catholic schools because they can focus on what matters most: teaching academics and forming the hearts and minds of their students,” she said. “It allows them to get back to the heart of why they entered the profession in the first place.”
