K12 Digest, an independent international portal and magazine focusing on elementary education, recently recognized St. Benedict School, Holmdel, with its “Prominent Private School to Watch in New Jersey” distinction.
In a full, multi-spread feature article in its January issue, K12 Digest highlighted the school’s integration of faith, service, quality education, hands-on learning and technology.
“We provide our students with a foundation for life,” said Nicholas Cammarano, St. Benedict’s principal, in the article. “This foundation is designed to equip students with the values, skills and breadth of knowledge they need to be successful in their lives.”
The article extolled the school’s attention to growth and diversity through its 60-plus years, adding features like its Great Outdoor Learning Center and modern science equipment, and preserving integrative learning experiences. K12 Digest also recognized the school’s commitment to student leadership, sportsmanship and service, both in the school and the wider community, and its prioritization of faith formation.
“Our goal has always been to support the whole child,” Cammarano said. “That means strong academics, a solid faith formation, and plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning.”
