Registration is still available for the March 7 one-day women’s conference “Courage that Builds: Women Standing with God for Our Faith, Families, Identities, and Restoration.”
Running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the conference will be hosted in St. Mary, Mother of God Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd., Middletown.
The conference draws inspiration from Nehemiah 4:14, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember, the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your kin, your sons and daughters, your wives and your homes.” It will be “rooted in Catholic faith, prayer and authentic encounter,” notes the online description from St. Mary Parish.
“In a time when truth, identity and family are being challenged,” the description continues, “this gathering calls women to stand firmly with the Lord and allow him to build courage within their hearts – courage that strengthens faith, restores families and renews hope.”
Through inspiring talks, personal testimonies, moments of prayer, and fellowship, women will be encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ and confidently live out their God-given vocation.
Speakers include Amanda O’Sullivan, Jean Vandervoort, Lisa Shimko, Francine Mautone and Anne Brunetti from the Encounter School of Ministry. Each speaker brings a unique Catholic perspective and lived experience, offering wisdom, encouragement and practical insight for women seeking to grow in faith and courage.
Register at https://dotccr.org. Cost is $25 per person.
