Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., shared a message with the faithful of the four-county Diocese of Trenton that Gov. Mikie Sherrill has declared a state of emergency as forecasts call for significant snowfall throughout the region starting Sunday (Feb. 22) evening through Monday (Feb. 23).
The state of emergency will begin at noon on Sunday.
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning that’s been updated to include NJ from 1 p.m. on Feb. 22 and last until 6 p.m. on Feb. 23. This blizzard warning also reaches into New York City and up to Connecticut.
