On Saturday, Roy Aris B. Ballacillo, Thomas John Barry, Jr., Michael A. Gentile, Jr., and Michael Kennedy will take some of their final steps toward becoming priests when they each are ordained transitional deacons by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.
The ordination Mass will begin at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton, and will be live streamed and archived, here.
Following their diaconate ordination, the four men will continue their studies and serve parish assignments in the coming year. It is expected that they will be ordained to the sacred priesthood in spring 2017.
