The Catholic Youth Organization of Mercer County announced the appointment of Dr. Ellieen Ancrum Ingbritsen as a member of the CYO board of trustees.
Dr. Ingbritsen has more than 30 years of experience in the field of education. She earned an undergraduate degree from the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station; a master’s degree with a concentration in curriculum, instruction and supervision from Rider University, Lawrenceville, and a doctoral degree in education with a focus on literacy from Holy Family University, Philadelphia. She also holds NJ certifications in pre-school, elementary, secondary English and special education.
In addition to her work as an educator, Dr. Ingbritsen has an extensive history with the Diocese of Trenton, serving as the secretary of ethnic ministries and director of the Office of Black Apostolate under the administration of Bishop Emeritus John M. Smith. Her experience as a member of numerous diocesan, recreational and community based organizations add a substantial array of knowledge to the CYO board of trustees.

Ed Gonzalez Jr.; Tom Griffith; Scott Krasny, Esq.; Louis Runi; Maurice Whetstone and Ed Petranto. Tom Mlandenetz is the CYO executive director.
