All the saints, whether widely known or those only known to God, were commemorated throughout the world Nov. 1, the day the Universal Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints.
In parishes around the Diocese, the feast day was observed with Masses, many of which invited parishioners to dress as their favorite saint. In some parishes the parishioners had an opportunity to speak or write a brief report on their chosen saint, while other parishes held All Saints Day parades or they participated in the Mass.
St. Ann Parish, Browns Mills was one parish where parishioners dressed as saints and participated in the Mass, including the Entrance Procession and the Presentation of the Gifts. Click here to see photo gallery.
