The nine-day St. Jude Novena taking place in St. Michael Church, Trenton, included a special Mass celebrated by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., the morning of Oct. 25.
While Bishop O’Connell was principal celebrant and homilist of the Mass, he was joined at the altar by Father Peter Bujdos, a weekend assosciate who celebrates Mass for the Slovak community.
St. Michael Church, which is part of St. Ann Parish, Lawrenceville, has hosted the novena for 86 years and includes a daily schedule of events which runs each year from Oct. 20-28.
