Transportation just got a bit easier for Catholic Youth Organization of Mercer, thanks to the purchase of a new bus with funds from generous individuals and groups.
Replacing a vehicle deemed too old for continued use, the new bus will provide essential transportation for participants between their schools and CYO program sites, and will shuttle after-school program students and summer campers to off-site programming and field trips.
“We certainly couldn’t have done this without almost $100,000 from CYO’s many long-time supporters,” said CYO executive director Tom Mladenetz. “We are most grateful.”
Donors included Arvesen & Mercer Funds of Community Foundation of NJ; Borden Foundation; Dombal-Vogel Foundation; Kerney Foundation; NJM Insurance Group; OceanFirst Foundation; Princeton Area Community Foundation; Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy; and countless individuals.
