Parishioners of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, Hamilton, along with their pastor, Msgr. Thomas N. Gervasio, celebrated the 250th anniversary of the United States with a trip to Philadelphia, the “Cradle of Liberty” July 22.
The visit included a tour of Old St. Joseph’s Church, which was established in 1733, a Mass celebrated by the pastor, Jesuit Father Joseph Hannafey, and a visit to the city’s Museum of the American Revolution.
