Standing before her 21 graduating classmates, along with family members and staff from Stuart Country Day School, speaker Annika Alden-Siegel offered a meditation on water, change and belonging.

During the Princeton school’s June 8 commencement exercises, Alden-Siegel traced the milestones of growth that the Class of 2026 experienced during the past four years, moving from quiet freshmen to purposeful leaders.
To paraphrase the ancient Greek philosopher Herclitus, Alden-Siegel said, “no one can step into the same river twice. The water is constantly moving and the person stepping into it is constantly changing as well.”
“Because of Stuart, we are ready for whatever waters come next,” she said.
The school’s Baccalaureate Service was May 4. Another graduation highlight was the presentation of Senior Goal Awards that reflect Stuart’s commitment to the goals and criteria of Sacred Heart education.
