Donning purple and gold caps and gowns, members of the Class of 2026 in St. Rose High School, Belmar, were joyfully honored on their May 28 graduation day.

Commencement exercises began with a May 21 Baccalaureate Mass celebrated by Msgr. Edward Arnister, pastor of St. Rose Parish, Belmar. Concelebrants included Father Christopher Dayton, pastor of St. Paul Parish, Princeton, who was homilist. Father Dayton’s younger brother, Matthew, was a member of the graduating class.
The graduation ceremony was held May 28 in Monmouth University during which the students received their diplomas and heard an inspiring speech by Fro Heine, who graduated from St. Rose in 1980 and currently serves as chair of the school’s advisory board.
