The diocesan Department of Evangelization and Family Life is now accepting nominations for the St. Timothy Awards, given annually to youth who follow in the footsteps of the award’s namesake and are examples of love, faith and virtue.
Those who would like to suggest a young person because of their outstanding service in youth ministry are encouraged to notify their parish’s youth minister. Each parish is allowed to nominate only one youth, and all nominations must be submitted by the youth minister to the Diocese by May 2.
Once chosen, certificates of award will be presented in the home parishes in hopes that the winners may serve as a witness to their peers and parish family.
For more information, contact Dan Waddington, diocesan associate director for youth ministry, at dwaddi@DioceseofTrenton.org.
