The educational services department of St. Francis Community Center, Brant Beach, has scheduled registration Jan. 14, 15 and 28 for its slate of 2019 winter classes in N.J. high school diploma preparation (GED) and English as a second language (ESL). Registration includes intake, assessment and orientation, and the classes will be offered throughout Ocean County.
GED classes:
• Holy Family Church, 1139 E. Countyline Road, Lakewood; Registration: Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.
• Southern Regional High School, 600 Main St., Manahawkin; Registration: Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.
• Toms River High School North, 1245 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River; Registration: Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.
• Brick Library, 301 Chambersbridge Rd., Brick; Registration: Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.
ESL classes:
• Southern Regional High School, 600 Main St., Manahawkin; Registration: Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.
• Toms River High School North, 1245 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River; Registration: Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.
• Lakewood Library, 301 Lexington Ave., Lakewood; Registration: Jan. 14 at 9 a.m. and Jan. 15 at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Classes are provided by the Ocean County Consortium through a grant from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development and are subject to change.
