As a way to spread the word about 24 Hours For the Lord, St. Mary Parish, Middletown, had large, colorful banners and billboards made and strategically placed in locations that would catch people’s attention. One billboard was hung on heavily traveled Route 36 and another banner was strung across the entrance to St. Mary Church.
The 24 Hours For the Lord is an initiative in which a number of parishes are designated to remain open round the clock where people can spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. St. Mary Parish is one of nine parishes that will host 24 Hours For the Lord the weekend of March 29-30.
