Requests are being accepted for grants from the Bishop George W. Ahr Endowment Fund. There are no application forms. The applicant should describe the project or program for which the grant is being requested and indicate how much money is being sought. This endowment is available to any church, office, apostolate or ministry attempting to provide services for vulnerable and/or poor families and/or individuals within their community.
All requests are to be forwarded to: Rev. Msgr. Thomas N. Gervasio, Pastoral Center, P.O. Box 5147, Trenton, N.J. 08638. Requests must be received on or before May 15. There will be approximately $10,000 available for distribution.

Mark your calendar for these upcoming Diocesan events:
- Priests, deacons, religious and lay faithful from across the four-county Diocese will gather with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., for the Chrism Mass on April 10.
- Bishop O’Connell will be the main celebrant for the Tenebrae Service April 12. The service portrays Jesus’ Passion with prayed and sung psalms, lessons and chants expressing grief.
- Bishop O’Connell will celebrate a Mass honoring law enforcement personnel in Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean and Burlington counties on April 18.
- Boys in grades seven through 12 are invited to spend a day at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary on April 30.
